Door Decorating

By the end of the day today, every classroom in our building had a decorated door in honor of Black History month. We chose to honor Bing Davis! The kids were so excited to learn about his life and view his works of art. They created their own art inspired by Mr. Davis and we used them to make our door display.

From our mini study the students have decided to do an art investigation! We will begin learning about artists next week. The students will get to explore different types of art and make their own interpretations of famous works of art. We will also be taking a trip to the Dayton Art Institute.
